Best Planting Days in May, 2013




MAY 4th-6th are favourable days  for planting root-crops, planting vines, and transplanting.

7th-8th of May are poor planting days.

9th-11th of May are favourable days for planting above-ground crops such as tomatoes and beans, corn and cotton.

12th-13th Seeds planted on these days will just rot in the ground rather than sprouting.

14th-15th are the most favourable days in May for planting corn, beans, peppers, cotton, okra, peppers, and all other above-ground crops. Plant flower seeds on these days.

16th-19th May represent a barren spell, during which you should do no planting or transplanting.

20th-21st of May are excellent days for planting all above-ground crops, sowing hay, grains, and planting flowers.

22nd-24th May are excellent days in which to plant above-ground crops and flowers.

25th-26th Seeds planted on these days will just rot in the ground rather than sprouting.

27th-28th of May are favourable days for planting root-crops like potatoes, beets, onions, and carrots.

29th-31st of May are barren, so do not plant during this period; rather, do garden clean-up and pest-control.
